In earlier posts I had talked about ways to reduce your auto insurance rates and save money. Well in this issue we are going to look at some little known tips on making the premium rates tip in you favour. In other words save more money.

Now if you are moving into a state or new neighbourhood, consider if it is a safe and secure area. If you are going to get an auto insurance policy at the same time you are moving into a new area, then you should look for those neighbourhoods with low crime rates. Not just on a personal safely level, but insurance providers quote lower premium rate if you live in these safer zones.

Consider this: If you lived in a risky area where car thefts are common and people vandalized on a frequently basis, do you seriously think the auto insurance company is going to give you low auto insurance rates? Of course not. They are going to factor this in and quote you a higher rate: meaning you pay more premiums.

In earlier posts I did mention that getting safer cars will help in getting lower auto insurance rates, but here are more specific tips: When you get these safer-model cars, remember to add-on and install air bags plus other safety options. This gives you brownie points when the auto insurance company assess the model of your car. They look at your safety features as well.

Also, try to get a cheaper safe-model car. Why do I say this? Although it’s true insurance companies give lower auto insurance rates for these safe-model cars, they also look at how expensive it is and how much it costs to upkeep.

Comparatively speaking, a car insurance company will be paying more on claims if you wreck that expensive family car than a cheap one. You’ll going to need more money to repair it if it is the expensive money. So what the insurance provider do is that they offset this risk to them with higher premium rates. So keep this specific detail in mind.

Here is one little known tip for reducing your auto insurance rates: If you can, try not to drive too often. Auto insurance providers do look at how often you use the car and logically, the more you drive the higher risk there is for an accident to happen. They’ll going to quote you higher premium on it. So try to minimize unnecessary usage of your car.

Alright so you have decided to buy an insurance policy for your car. You want to look and compare the best auto insurance rates there is around your area. How do you find the suitable one? First, know that quality of an auto insurance policy is not dependent on it’s cost. While it’s true that you get what you pay for, there are some ways to get good deals without sacrificing quality.

Now for you shoppers, you people know the drill: always compare and check the prices before you buy. How is it any different from buying an auto insurance policy? Know that you can actually save much more on this than your normal grocery shopping. I hope the thought of that motivates you.

Here is a strategy to get the lowest auto insurance rates possible in your area. First off, know that insurance providers calculate certain factors when they quote auto insurance rates for you. The weightage of each factor varies from company to company, but generally you can tell which they are. Do take note of these factors, as you can save as much as several thousands of dollars in premium payment if you play your cards right.

Ok on to the actual execution of the strategy: Go and collect as many car insurance quotes as you can from the various insurance providers in your area. You can use the yellow pages or newspaper ads to look for them. Alternatively, checking for insurance sites online works just as well. For the websites, you just need to enter certain details and you’ll can get quotes from multiple insurance providers. It is a real time saver. Be sure to find on an insurance broker site as they give you these kinds of quotes. If it is on a known insurance company site, they will obviously only quote your auto insurance rates from their company.

And as they say, it’s a numbers game. What you are doing here is to statistically increase the odds of you finding that favourable auto insurance rate you want. If you had only searched for 2 or 3 companies, it’s not likely you’ll get good quotations from them. Remember choices come in numbers. I hope the above article has been helpful for you.

Now for those of you who are parents and have kids who are now old enough to drive, I have some tips and information on how you can get cheaper auto insurance rates for them. First thing first, don’t go and buy from the first insurance provider that quotes your rates for goodness sake. Know that auto insurance prices can be very different amongst the various providers.

Now a few bad news first. Since your son or daughter just got their driving license, what this means is that they lack the experience in the driving department. When an insurance provider sees this, it equates to higher risks and so higher premium rates. Not good. But fret not; let’s look at some ways you can help lower the overall rates.

Tip 1 and it starts with educating your son or daughter on the importance of having good driving habits. This is a longer-term perspective as when insurance providers keep track of their good records they will subsequently lower the auto insurance rates in future renewals.

Tip 2 is buy auto insurance policy that has high deductible. Because of the way insurance works, your premium becomes lower as your deductible becomes higher. It’s an inverse relationship.

Tip 3 is when you get a car for your son or daughter, get one that is known for it’s safety and durability. Your kids may think getting a fast car is fantastic, but you should know that insurance providers assign higher premium rates to such sports cars.

Tip 4 for a cheaper auto insurance policy. If you can, get your kids a policy that is stand alone. Usually there are insurance providers that are specialized for teenage drivers. Now you should also know that they do have certain requirements for your kids when they drive. To be eligible for the policy and possible claims, your kids may have requirements to meet like not able to drive in the night, etc.

.Well that’s it and I hope the above tips will be helpful in getting cheaper auto insurance rates for your kids. Remember: teach them good driving habits!

In this issue we are going to talk about high risks and rates for auto insurance. As usual, I’ll give you some quick tips and tricks on how to save money and learn how to maximise your insurance policy.

Now if you are looking to get an auto insurance policy don’t put it off any longer. Even if you are on a shoestring budget it is still possible to get one that is customized for you. I can tell you the horror stories of some of my friends who thought they were so smart as to save money by skipping auto insurance. Well, few months down the road some road accident got their car dented and now they are paying much higher costs for it then it should have been.

Now first thing you need to know about auto insurance rates is that high risks usage will mean you have to pay higher rates. If you are low risk than you don’t have to pay as much. Common sense I know but some people seem to think that they can get low rates from their reckless driving habits.

So what makes an auto insurance policy cover suitable for you? One key factor you should look at first is your level of income. Does it fit your budget? Are you able to sufficiently handles the monthly premium payments?

Next factor to consider is of course what I briefly mentioned earlier. How much of a risk you are when it comes to driving your vehicle. Now this is link to your behaviour and how you drive your car. Are you the guy who often gets into speed driving habits or frequently get caught for speeding? The auto insurance provider is going assess you on these factors and quote the rates accordingly. If you want to reduce your rates, make sure that your driving habits are safe and sound. No bad records for your driving licence either.

Another factor you must take into account is the type of vehicle you use. Now, if you own and routinely drive a sports car or some high speed type of vehicle, the auto insurance rates for you are definitely going to be higher. So one tip here is to choose safer cars like family vehicles or non-sports related cars. This way you will be quoted lower on the premium rates.

Well that’s it for this issue. Thanks for reading and I hope the above tips have been helpful for you.

When people such for auto insurance rates online, they try to find the sweetest deal there is. Well looking at the dire state that our economy is in now, it makes senses to save money and go on a budget.

What this implies for those insurance providers are that their business will be adversely affected and may even need to drop their prices. What this means for you as the consumer is that you will more than likely get better rates and deals from them. Let’s now look at a few tips on saving money and getting better quotations.

Alright you’ve heard about high deductibles. Yep those things. Now, if you can pay for it then go ahead. It will actually help to reduce your overall cost for insurance. Now I know what you are thinking, but let me say that you can pay for the deductibles and not get yourself into a sticky situation.

Just follow the steps I’m about to explain and you’ll be fine. First, open up with your local bank a savings account. Deposit money into it and when you have hit the amount that your deductible is at, then just stop putting money in it and let it grow by itself. So, god forbid, if you get into some car accident, you know that you’ll be covered.

Now for those of your still in college or school, if your grades are good, you can ask for a reduce quotation. They have these kinds of price breaks for students with proven record of good grades.

Another way to reduce how much premium you are paying is if you avoid making claims for no reason. While it may be tempting to make claims for every little single incident, best save it for the serious ones. Just make sure when you make a claim, the costs are much higher than your deductible amount.

Well that’s it for this article on how to reduce your costs for auto insurance rates. I hope the tips and tricks has been helpful for you.
